Pigeon is a unique little pack of folding letters, where the letter (beautifully illustrated) folds into it’s own envelope using a very neat origami fold, and is then sealed with a stamp. (The idea began after getting heartily sick of Facebook, and wanted to find a nicer, more personal way of keeping in touch with friends).
Scottish-based printmaker Lisa Hooper has delightfully captured the simple elegance and striking forms of oystercatchers, curlews, and ringed plovers against the gentle hues of their coastal habitats. Inspired by wonderful family holidays on the island of Tiree, Hebridean Pigeon celebrates the wonders and waders of Scottish island wildlife, bringing a ‘wee’ bit of the Hebrides to your own hearth and home.
