This illustration was designed for Riso printing in four colour layers. Professionally printed in the UK on 250gsm paper stock these prints have a high quality finish and a nice weight to them.

A Risograph machine is a stencil duplicator. It's a cross between screen printing and photocopying. The Riso prints one colour at a time in bright, vibrant colours using stencils. It's a mechanised form of printing but the results are similar to a screen print, layering up colours and creating overlays. Each print is slightly different with the layer registration and ink coverage making them fall within the original print category.

Printed at a standard A3 size this print is designed to work with off the shelf frames so you can get it up on your wall with minimal cost and maximum efficiency This print is sold UNFRAMED.
Material

Risograph printing is a very eco-friendly print process with wonderful results. It uses soy based inks which are free from ozone emissions, toner particle emissions, silica dust, and other air pollutants.

MADE IN THE UK

All of Printer Johnson's products are made in the UK, with many produced locally to the Norfolk studio. Their greetings cards are supplied plastic free with either a recycled or FSC certified envelope. All prints are risograph, which uses soy based inks which are free from ozone emissions, toner particle emissions, silica dust, and other air pollutants. Prints are packaged in bio-cello bags.

Meet the Maker: Printer Johnson

Vicki Johnson, owner of Printer Johnson originally trained in textile design and went on to co-found an open access printmaking studio teaching screen printing alongside her practice.

Vicki is based in Norwich and her background in printmaking ensures that attention to detail, process and quality is paramount in every piece from greetings card to A3 print!
