Celebrate the arrival of a precious little one with this whimsical New Baby Card by Driftwood Designs. Designed by acclaimed Welsh artist Lizzie Spikes in her Aberystwyth studio, this card features her signature illustrative style, turning a traditional congratulations greeting into a small, vibrant piece of art.
The front of the card showcases a truly joyful, eye-catching focal point: the gentle greeting 'New Baby' is repeated around a circular decorative border, perfectly framing a charming illustration of country chickens with their new chick nestled right at the heart of the design. Ringed by Lizzie's iconic hand-drawn fluid textures, vibrant watercolour washes, and intricate, playful framing, the central farmyard scene feels wonderfully warm and celebratory. This unique layout gives the card an exquisite, balanced aesthetic that ensures it will take pride of place on any nursery shelf or mantelpiece.
Every card is proudly printed in Wales, the front showcases a bold, cheerful design that instantly brightens up any mantelpiece, while the inside is left completely blank. This gives you plenty of room to write a heartfelt, personal message in your own words. Paired with a complementary envelope, it makes the perfect stationary staple to keep tucked in your desk drawer for life's important moments.
