Out and About

Hello there,

How are we so far into April already? This year is completely flying by but the sun has been shining and I think Spring is finally here so I really can't complain! Also, April is my birthday month so I'm totally on a countdown!

March was such a busy month for us with Mother's Day orders, new range planning and just life in general, but in between it all I managed to take part in the March Meet the Maker Challenge every day! This is a big achievement for me - I generally start these things with the best of intentions and then life and orders get in the way and I never get past day 3 (there's a new years resolution for 2018 already!). I won't bore you with ALL THE PHOTOS (you can see those on our instagram here) but here are a few of my favourites!

So after a busy few weeks we took some time out at the weekend for family time - we had a lovely dinner at Royal William Yard in Plymouth on Saturday evening - the sun was shining, it was (almost) warm and of course, with all those beautiful buildings and boats, very picturesque! Plus there are an awful lot of restaurants to choose from - even for tricky/allergy eaters like me, I'd recommend a visit if you haven't been already!

On Sunday we ventured in the opposite direction to Frome, specifically for the Frome Independent, which is a monthly market that totally made it worth the 1 hr 45 minute drive. I'd actually never been to this pretty town before but oh my, I will be back! It was so good that I think we took one photo between us, so distracted were we - so I've nabbed a couple from their website!

The market was huge with a flea market, music, a disco (oh yes!), ALL the food stalls you could think of, beautiful craft, more food, artworks, basically all the good stuff in one place! Plus the shops in Frome are lovely, my favourite had to be Post Script which is total stationery heaven (and they have a colouring table for the kids so you can obsess over notebooks in peace!). I can't wait until the next one!
