Hello hello!
Is the sun shining where you are? I do hope so! After a busy weekend at the Bristol Artisan (more on that in a minute!), we took a cheeky morning off to appreciate this beautiful weather in the lovely town where we live! We took a stroll around the park and stopped for coffee (and cake, obviously!) at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, which is my go to for the glorious combination of beautiful craft by clever people, and good coffee!
We took time to just chat and catch up and plan and it was glorious (and so very needed!). If you are ever in Bovey Tracey (or visiting Dartmoor!) I do recommend that you swing by the Guild - the exhibitions are frequently changing - at the moment it's Pour Me and has a wonderful selection of jugs/vessels and art/prints featuring the same - I walked round compiling a shopping list (basically I want them all!).

But I digress (who me, surely not?!), a gentle morning was definitely needed after a busy weekend selling our wares in Bristol - we were thrilled to be in such excellent company at The Bristol Artisan and as always, it was so lovely to meet lots of lovely customers, especially over Mother's Day. Bristol holds a special place in my heart as it is where I went to uni and essentially began the journey to becoming a designer maker so I always try to visit when I can! Here we are just before opening...(with the smallest assistant!)
Credit goes to our marvellous photographer and temporary neighbour Elizabeth Chubb who managed the tricky task of getting us all looking in the same direction (she also makes beautiful jewellery too, what a multi-talented woman she is - find her lovely work here - Elizabeth Chubb Jewellery )
So now we are really in the swing of show season, which we really love because working in a small team, and selling mainly online and to other stores, we don't get to meet our customers as much as we would like, and it turns out you're a lovely bunch! We're off all over the place over the next few months with more to be confirmed as time goes on but for now, here is a list of all the places you can find us!
Probably my favourite show of the year (and that isn't because I get to sleep in my own bed at night!) - this show is a beacon for high quality, high end, contemporary craft by the most talented makers from around the UK, plus the whole festival is family friendly and full of wonderful food, workshops, and if we're lucky, glorious sunshine!
A new one for us this year, and right in the centre of Exeter - we're really looking forward to setting up shop on Cathedral Green!
For Trade only - this will be our 6th year at Home & Gift in Harrogate, and so worth the very long drive to get there!
Another great day in our calendar - fantastic concerts, street food for every taste, contemporary craft (obviously!) and this year, very excitingly, a gin festival (I would be there, with bells on, even if I weren't exhibiting!)
Perfect for those organised types to start their Christmas shopping (or, in my case, to continue my year round shopping for myself for things I like!). More high quality products from hugely talented folk, in a beautiful setting in Cardiff, lovely!
Hopefully they'll be lots more to add as we get confirmation but for now, having read that list, I really ought to get back to the sewing machine!
Wishing you endless sunshine!
